Holiday Season

When is the last chance to order before the holidays?

To ensure you receive your gifts in time for the holidays, please place your order before:

Oceania and Rest of the World: 5 December

North America and UAE: 12 December

Europe, UK and Asia: 16 December

Please note all shipping dates are an estimate and cannot be guaranteed.

Product

Are the pieces lightweight?

Argot pieces are made of PLA which is a type of bio-sourced plastic. Depending on their design, pieces can be delicate and light weight such as transparent pieces or more heavy. The weight of each piece is indicated on the product page. 

Are the vases watertight?

We indicate each piece that is watertight. We offer several watertight pieces such as the Double Vessel or the Soeurs Vase and test all of them before shipping to ensure they are watertight. Due to the printing process, other pieces are not guaranteed to be watertight and we recommend to be used with dry flowers only. 

In what material are the pieces made?

Argot pieces are produced using 100% plant origin raw materials. This raw material is made from PLA (polylactic acid). PLA is a type of plastic made from organic, renewable resources including corn starch. Unlike other plastics, which are made from fossil fuels, PLA is created from 100% biomass resources.

All the non-transparent pieces are made from material produced in the Netherlands and are made from recycled food packaging. Each piece is 100% recyclable and industrially compostable.

Are the pieces durable and long-lasting?

Each object is designed to transcend seasonality and made to last. PLA is a durable material however, our transparent pieces are printed extra finely to obtain optimal transparency and therefore are delicate and should be handled with care.

How should I care for my pieces?

Each piece must be hand-washed with cold water. They may be dusted and cleaned with everyday household cleaning products. 

For our bowls and fruit stand, please wash food before consumption.

For the lamps, use 220W LED only. For the USA: 110V. Please note: Cable and Soft Warm White Bulb is included.

Orders

How long does it take to prepare my order?

Each item is printed and ‘made-to-order’ in our Parisian atelier. It will take around 3-5 business days before your order is shipped.

Has my order been processed?

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed.

Is it possible to cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please contact hello@argotstudio.com.

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email from us with your tracking number once your order has been shipped.

Exchanges

Can I exchange my order?

We offer free exchanges on your order within the European Union. If you would like to proceed with an exchange, please contact us at hello@argotstudio.com and we will issue you with an exchange label.

For orders made outside the European Union, we do not offer exchanges.

Returns

Can I return my item bought within the European Union?

For countries within the European Union, you can return your item within the 30-day return policy. Please request a return first by contacting us on hello@argotstudio.com. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Please use a shipping method with a tracking option as Argot Studio cannot be held responsible for lost items, and keep all proof of delivery and tracking information until the refund is processed.

We will inform you via email once we have received your package. Please remember it can take approximately 3-7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Can I return an item bought outside the European Union?

For orders outside the European Union, you are eligible for a return within a 30-day period.  You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Please use a shipping method with a tracking option as Argot Studio cannot be held responsible for lost items, and keep all proof of delivery and tracking information until the refund is processed.

Argot Studio will provide the custom documents.

We will inform you via email once we have received your package. Please remember it can take approximately 3-7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Can I return an archive piece?

Please note: Archive pieces are final sale items and therefore cannot be returned. 

My item has arrived faulty or damaged

We are sorry to hear that your order has arrived damaged. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@argotstudio.com with your name, proof of purchase, description, order number and a picture of the fault. Once we have processed your request, we will send you a replacement piece.

How much does shipping cost?

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we offer international shipping.

European Union:

Will I have to pay VAT for an order in France and the European Union ?

For all orders placed within the European Union, the applicable VAT will be charged. The VAT is included in the prices displayed on the website. 

Will I have to pay any additional fees?

You will not have to pay any additional fees when you receive your order.

Countries outside of the European Union (including UK):

Will I have to pay the VAT for an International order (outside of the European Union)?

For any order made outside the European Union, the French Value Added Tax (VAT) will not be charged. 

Will I have to pay customs duties when I receive my order?

Depending on the customs regulations in your country of residence, you may be subject to additional government duties and fees once you receive your order. 

If the recipient does not pay the customs charges, the package will not be delivered and in this case, is not eligible for a refund.

Can I choose a specific delivery date and time?

If you would like your order to arrive after a certain date, we can schedule your order to be shipped after this period. However, it is not possible to choose a specific delivery date and time. We recommend contacting the courier service directly.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer payments made by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal and Klarna. 

I want to add a billing address after I have already processed my order

Please email us at hello@argotstudio.com to make changes to your billing address.

Is the payment secure?

To process payments, we use Trustwave and Geotrust-certified secure servers as well as SSL. Furthermore, we use protected browser connections by employing the lock symbol and related URL containing ‘https’ to ensure the website server is secure.

To protect your credit card purchases, you will always be asked to enter your CVV code for every order.

Is it possible to get a tax refund on my purchase?

It is not possible to get a tax refund on your purchase.

Is it possible to receive an invoice on my order?

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email that includes information regarding the item, price and taxes. If you require an invoice, we will happily send that to you. Please contact us at hello@argotstudio.com.
